The Local Plan

The first District-wide Local Plan was adopted in 1997. This is now redundant.

The replacement Local Plan for the period up to 2011 was adopted in June 2006. Future development plan preparation will form the Local Development Framework under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
