Report a missed bin collection

Service Update
We are currently experiencing an increased number of service disruptions due to vehicle breakdowns.

If you have reported a missed collection, please be assured that our crews are aware and will return to complete the collection as soon as possible.

If your container becomes full and you need additional capacity while we work to resolve this issue, please contact Customer Services on 01993 861000 for assistance.

The following table shows if any service failures were reported today. If your address is listed, please leave your bin out or represent before 6am tomorrow and our crews will return to collect.

Report

If your bin or recycling has not been collected you can report it as missed after 4pm on collection day. You need to let us know within two days of the missed collection.

Before reporting a missed bin collection please make sure that:

  • you had put the bin out by 6am
  • there was no extra waste by the side of the bin
  • any recycling was in the correct bin or box
  • your garden waste bin had a valid licence
  • bin lids were closed

What happens next

We aim to return to collect within two working days from the day that the miss is reported.

There may have been a reason why your collection was missed, for example, not being able to access the property, contaminated or overflowing rubbish. We will let you know if this is the case.
