Community & leisure grants
Community activities grant: max £500
For community groups wishing to develop arts, heritage or community-based projects in West Oxfordshire which contribute to the health and wellbeing of residents and quality of community life.
This scheme is available to apply for and the closing date is 23 March.
Community facilities grant: max £50,000
For community led capital projects for the improvement/enhancement of existing community facilities and the procurement of new facilities/equipment for example for village halls, play areas, sports club equipment.
Application deadlines: Applications are now closed for 2019. New dates for 2020/2021 applications will be be released in March 2020.
Community revenue grant: max £5,000
Community revenue grant: £1,000 (minimum) to £5,000 (higher awards possible in limited cases).
For relevant voluntary and community organisations that support the achievement of the Council’s priority aims.
Application deadline: The deadline for the annual round of applications is Friday 7 February 2020 (for 2020/21 financial year). Where funding remains after the annual application round, applications will be considered on an ongoing basis.
Individual development in sport, active recreation and play grant: max £200
For organisations to develop their workforce capacity through coaching, officiating and playwork.
Application deadline: Applications are considered on an on-going basis.
GLL Sport Foundation: £50-£1,250
For athletes participating at county level and above. Award winners also gain free access to our leisure facilities. Run in partnership with the Sports awards (Coach of the Year, Sports Club of the Year and Unsung Hero). For more information about the Sports awards please see the Sport and fitness page
Application deadline: Applications for the GLL Sport Foundation open on the 20 December 2019 until 20 February 2020.
