Get involved in new Eynsham development
Residents are being invited to have their say on a key planning document which will help shape a major new development in Eynsham.
Land west of Eynsham is allocated for 1,000 houses, a link road and a new primary school as well as other supporting infrastructure in West Oxfordshire District Council’s emerging Local Plan.
A supplementary planning document will be drawn up with the aim of ensuring the new development integrates with the existing community and takes account of the environmental qualities and characteristics of the area.
As part of it an issues paper has been produced looking at the options and considerations for the development of the site and inviting residents to provide feedback and comment.
Cllr Toby Morris, Deputy Leader of the Council, said: “This is a significant new development and I would urge residents and any other interested parties to get involved.
“It is vital that the community engages with this scheme and provides input into how it will take shape in the future. That way, as many considerations as possible can form part of the process.”
All comments must be received by 5pm on Friday 21 September 2018.
