Survey seeks views on parking in Woodstock
Residents, shoppers and businesses are being asked to share their views on parking in Woodstock.
A survey has been launched to gauge opinion on the current state of parking in the town and where it can potentially be improved.
The initiative follows a general parking survey carried out across the district in 2016 which showed that demand for parking in and around the centre of Woodstock is higher than the available number of spaces.
Cllr Norman MacRae, Cabinet Member with responsibility for car parking, said: “We have known for some time that parking in Woodstock is becoming more problematic but we need to balance the needs of all road users, including residents and businesses.
“The survey is a good way of allowing everyone to express their views and will give us valuable information about how we plan parking provision in the future.”
People are urged to complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/woodstockparking
Paper versions are also available in the foyer of Woodstock Town Council in the Town Hall which is open daily from 9am-1pm. The survey should be completed by 30 November 2019.
