Woodstock Town Council
A request from Woodstock electors has been received to fill the TWO Town Council vacancies by holding an Election.
Following the close of candidate nominations, the election for Woodstock Town Council has been returned as uncontested, filling one of the two town council vacant seats.
The Statement of Persons Nominated and Notice of uncontested Election is given below.
A further election will be arranged to fill the remaining vacancy, details for the date of the poll and statutory time table will be published here as soon as possible.

District and Parish/Town Council elections will be held for a third of West Oxfordshire District Council on Thursday 7 May 2026.
16 Scheduled District Council Elections (one seat):
Ascott and Shipton ward; Bampton and Clanfield ward; Brize Norton and Shilton ward; Burford ward; Carterton North East ward; Carterton North West ward; Carterton South ward; Chipping Norton ward; Ducklington ward; Eynsham and Cassington ward; Freeland and Hanborough ward; Standlake, Aston and Stanton Harcourt ward; The Bartons; West East ward; Witney South ward AND Woodstock and Bladon ward
Parish/Town Council scheduled elections will be held for:
Ascott under Wychwood (5); Asthal (5); Aston, Cote, Shifford and Chimney (7); Bampton (11); Bladon (6); Brize Norton (7); Burford (11); Cassington (5); Curbridge (5) and Lew (1); Ducklington (9); Fulbrook (5); Sandford St Martin (5); Shilton (5); Shipton under Wychwood (7); Standlake (7); Steeple Barton (9); AND Swinbrook and Widford (5).
