A referendum will be held for registered electors for Stonesfield on Thursday 12 November 2026, the hours of poll will be 7am to 10pm at the Stonesfield Village Hall, Field Close, Stonesfield OX29 8HA.

- Applications to register to vote – Tuesday 27 October 2026
- Applications for new postal vote applications or cancellations, and amendments to existing postal voting arrangements – 5pm Wednesday 28 October
- Application to appoint a proxy to vote at the referendum – 5pm Wednesday 4 November
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate – 5pm Wednesday 4 November
Wootton Parish Council – Election to fill a vacancy
A request has been received from ten local government Wootton electors for an election to be held to fill the current vacancy on the Parish Council.
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 12 November 2026, the hours of poll will be 7am to 10pm at the Wootton Village Hall.
Nomination papers can be obtained from the Parish Clerk for Wootton Parish Council by emailing [email protected] or alternatively, the Deputy Returning Officer at the Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney OX28 1NB ([email protected]).

- Notice of Election – Thursday 8 October 2026
- Candidate Nomination period from Friday 9 October to the deadline at 4pm on Friday 16 October 2026
- Nomination papers must be submitted to the (Deputy) Returning Officer, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney OX28 1NB either in person, or by someone trusted on the candidates’ behalf
- Applications to register to vote – Tuesday 27 October 2026
