Salt Cross area action plan examination
The Area Action Plan (AAP) has been formally submitted to the Planning Inspectorate for independent examination. The appointed Inspector is Mr Darren McCreery MA BA (Hons) MRTPI.
As part of the examination process, a number of hearing sessions were held over a two-week period from 28 June – 8 July 2021. The hearings took place virtually and were streamed live via the District Council’s Facebook page. The recordings of each session can be viewed here.
To assist the examination, the Inspector issued a number of documents in advance of the hearings. These are available to download below (INSP 1 – INSP 14).
The most recent document (INSP 15) is a note from the Inspector which was published after the hearing sessions had closed and confirms that the AAP examination has now been paused to enable the District Council to undertake some additional work on the phasing of key infrastructure.
Further information on the District Council’s proposed way forward will be made available on this page as soon as possible.
